About the role

Fallon & Byrne is a leading food destination in Dublin, known for its Foodhall, Wine Cellar, Dining Room and Ballroom. The team is looking for an experienced Barista to join the Foodhall and help deliver a high standard of service in a busy café and deli setting.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome customers warmly and deliver consistently strong service throughout the day.
• Prepare and present food items while following safe food handling practices and full HACCP standards.
• Keep the deli coffee station clean and well maintained on a day-to-day basis.
• Help guests with questions about deli offerings and coffee products.
• Operate a manual espresso machine and adjust grinders as needed for quality coffee preparation.
• Manage stock rotation and restocking to keep the area ready for service.
• Take on additional duties as assigned from time to time.

About you

• You bring prior experience working in a busy café environment, ideally with both barista and deli exposure.
• You are friendly, professional, approachable and genuinely focused on customer service.
• You can stay organised and work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• You have a genuine interest in great food and coffee.
• You work authentically, bring new ideas, and are comfortable thinking creatively.
• You show empathy, can motivate others and build positive working relationships.
• You combine careful, methodical thinking with strong attention to detail and a practical, solution-led mindset.
• You demonstrate integrity, sound judgement and a commitment to high standards.
• You are confident in building trust and representing Fallon & Byrne positively.
