Role overview

Deloitte is seeking a BPS Consultant to join the Business Process Services team in Pristina. In this position, you will support tax engagement teams with accounting and tax-related work for both public and private sector clients. The role covers areas such as tax compliance, accounting, tax planning, and research, with exposure to a wide range of projects in the Tax & Legal department.

What the role involves

• Support organizations and individuals in structuring transactions and day-to-day operations in a tax-efficient way while helping reduce tax exposure and maintain compliance.
• Contribute to assignments that range from accounting and tax compliance work to advisory tasks related to tax structuring.
• Use your background in accounting, tax compliance, compensation, global equity, and employment tax matters to identify issues and provide practical guidance.
• Follow internal policies and procedures, while also ensuring alignment with the laws and regulations applicable in Kosovo.

What Deloitte is looking for

• A graduate in Mathematical Sciences, Economics, Accounting, or Finance.
• Alternatively, a candidate with a solid academic and professional background in Accounting, Economics, Finance, or Business Administration, along with 1 to 2 years of relevant experience.
• Strong working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, plus hands-on familiarity with local and international accounting software.
• Very good English communication skills, including the ability to work effectively with clients.
• A collaborative team player who can contribute positively to a supportive workplace culture.
• Comfort working on large, complex engagements and handling tasks with a strong sense of urgency.
• Good analytical ability, with the capacity to process data, organize information clearly, and approach work in a structured way.
• A proactive, focused, and rigorous mindset with a results-driven approach.
