Job description
Role overview
WORLDPAC, a recognized leader in automotive parts distribution, is hiring a Branch Operations Lead to support the Assistant Branch Operations Manager and Branch Operations Manager in the day-to-day running of warehouse activities.
About the company
WORLDPAC’s competitive edge comes from its strong technology platform, broad product range, and a business model built around serving customers and suppliers well. The company emphasizes community, connection, and inclusion, and says its team members have helped it outperform the industry for more than 30 years.
The organization offers a workplace designed to be both demanding and rewarding, with compensation and benefits, growth opportunities, and a supportive atmosphere that encourages creativity, innovation, and personal development.
Key duties
This position works alongside branch leadership to build knowledge across all core branch functions, including operations, staffing, training, branch assets, budgeting, and expense control. The role also requires modeling safe and secure work practices, promoting compliance across the team, helping coworkers apply training in daily tasks, and maintaining a customer-focused approach.
The Branch Operations Lead is expected to escalate policy breaches and safety issues, coordinate with management to make sure orders are completed, inventory stays accurate, and records are properly prepared and retained. The role may also involve using a vehicle for deliveries or returns in a safe and professional way, along with other assigned responsibilities.
Working conditions
The position requires the warehouse to be opened and closed Monday through Friday, with Saturdays as needed. The work environment can be loud and includes exposure to moving machinery, high places, fumes, airborne particles, and toxic or caustic chemicals.
Physical demands include frequent standing, walking, hand use, reaching, speaking, and listening; regular stooping, kneeling, and crouching; and occasional sitting, climbing, or balancing. The role requires the ability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly, up to 50 pounds frequently, and up to 100 pounds occasionally. Close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus are also needed.
Compensation and benefits
The posted pay range is USD 18.00 to USD 21.00 per hour. Pay within that range depends on job-related skills, relevant experience, and education or training, and the company generally aims near the midpoint of the advertised range. Full-time U.S. roles include health, dental, and vision coverage, wellness incentives, a 401(k) with employer match after one year of service, paid time off, paid holidays, annual performance reviews or merit increases where eligible, and career growth support.
Equal opportunity and accommodations
WORLDPAC states that it is an equal opportunity employer in the United States and considers all qualified applicants without discrimination based on race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, disability, or veteran status. The company also says reasonable accommodations are available for qualified individuals with disabilities who need help performing essential job functions.
Additional notes
All other assigned duties may be included as business needs require.
