Unison Group is seeking a Business Analyst to support digital initiatives, shape product direction, and bridge business needs with practical technology solutions in Singapore.
What you'll do
- Uncover the needs of citizens and business users by mapping service journeys, then translate those needs into business cases with quick prototype development.
- Create user stories, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria, and build prototypes to confirm requirements and assess value.
- Assess and suggest technologies, including AI-based tools, by testing them directly and checking that they fit the organisation’s technology roadmap and central platforms.
- Choose suitable delivery approaches, such as Agile or Waterfall, depending on the environment and project context.
- Prepare systems for release, confirm deployment readiness, and examine the effects of proposed changes.
- Support the CIO in spotting opportunities for digital transformation.
- Set the product vision, roadmap, and goals so they remain aligned with business priorities.
- Share product strategy with stakeholders and use data to guide decisions.
Requirements
- A degree in a relevant IT discipline and at least 4 years of experience in IT business analysis, solution design, and testing.
- Hands-on exposure to at least one complete software or product development cycle; Agile experience is preferred.
- Strong capability in analysis, problem-solving, and influencing others.
- Proven stakeholder management skills, including the ability to work with users at different levels and lead discussions effectively.
