Business Data Analyst (M/F/D)

Role overview

LASER COMPONENTS is looking for a full-time Business Data Analyst (m/f/d) to strengthen the IT team at its parent company, Photona GmbH, based in Olching near Munich. The role supports a long-established, owner-managed family business that develops and sells optical and optoelectronic solutions worldwide.

What you will do

• Build, refine, and maintain reports, analytical views, and dashboards for business teams and leadership.
• Work with data coming from different business platforms, including ERP, CRM, HR, Finance, and Production systems.
• Convert business needs into practical data models and measurable KPIs.
• Monitor and improve data quality and consistency across connected systems.
• Assist with ad hoc analysis tasks and support data-driven decisions.

• Strong command of MS SQL, especially complex joins, views, and query performance tuning.
• Experience handling data from multiple source systems such as ERP and CRM.
