Role overview
This position supports the business development manager in generating leads, growing the customer base, and helping the company expand into new opportunities. The role combines market research, prospect outreach, client relationship management, and day-to-day administrative coordination.
Success in this position requires a collaborative mindset, strong interpersonal communication, and confidence in regularly speaking with customers through presentations and pitches.
Key responsibilities
- Help build and execute sales approaches while spotting potential new markets.
- Research market trends and identify fresh business growth opportunities.
- Develop and nurture customer relationships through email, phone, and face-to-face communication.
- Organize client meetings, appointments, conferences, and related events.
- Support the creation of presentations and pitch material for prospective customers.
- Prepare and circulate agendas, proposals, budget estimates, and briefing notes for internal and external discussions.
- Maintain client records and mailing databases with accuracy.
- Monitor proposal submissions and share updates or feedback with management.
- Provide general administrative assistance as needed.
