Role overview

Leaseweb is hiring a Business Development Manager to support expansion across the APAC region, with a primary focus on Singapore, Hong Kong, and Australia. This position is centered on creating new business opportunities, increasing revenue from existing accounts, and working across teams to align sales efforts with wider business goals.

What you will do

In this role, you will promote Leaseweb’s IaaS offerings, convert qualified prospects into customers, and take ownership of deals and customer relationships. The role gives a high degree of autonomy and calls for strong commercial drive, accountability, and customer focus.

  • Identify, pursue, and close fresh business opportunities while working toward and beyond monthly sales targets.
  • Use modern lead generation methods and sales tools to build and qualify a strong pipeline.
  • Handle the complete sales process, including prospecting, qualification, negotiation, and closing.
  • Apply understanding of cloud, datacenter, and managed services to shape solutions that fit client needs.
  • Create and nurture strategic relationships with new customers for long-term engagement.
  • Present complex technical and commercial offerings in a clear, persuasive manner.
  • Record customer needs and relevant deal details accurately in CRM systems.

Requirements

The ideal candidate is proactive, customer-oriented, and highly motivated by results. Leaseweb is looking for someone who can turn leads into closed deals and build durable client relationships.

  • At least 5 years of B2B sales experience in the technology sector, preferably with a strong focus on new business acquisition.
  • A bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a similar discipline.
  • Exposure to, or strong interest in, the IT industry, especially cloud solutions, datacenter services, and managed services.
  • A self-starter attitude with the persistence to go beyond the standard effort required to win business.
  • Capability to negotiate and work effectively with clients from different cultural backgrounds.
  • Strong spoken and written English; knowledge of another Asian language is an advantage.
