Role overview
This is a full-time remote position for a Business Development Manager. The role is responsible for finding new business opportunities, developing strong client partnerships, planning and executing sales approaches, and carrying out market research to identify areas for expansion. The person in this role will work closely with internal teams to prepare persuasive proposals, make presentations, negotiate agreements, and support revenue goals.
Role expectations
- Create fresh business opportunities through cold outreach, networking, referrals, email campaigns, and social media engagement.
- Approach prospective clients and convert them into active accounts.
- Develop long-term relationships with clients and maintain ongoing communication.
- Lead sales discussions, present solutions, and handle negotiations.
- Close deals and work toward monthly revenue goals.
- Design and apply sales plans that support business expansion.
- Coordinate with the marketing team to bring in qualified leads.
- Keep sales records and CRM information accurate and up to date.
- Track market movements and competitor activity.
- Prepare and share weekly and monthly sales performance updates.
KPIs and performance goals
- Monthly revenue target: AED 40,000.
- New client acquisition.
- Lead generation.
- Conversion rate.
- Client retention.
- Revenue growth.
Compensation and terms
This role is commission-based, with 50% commission on closed business according to company policy. The monthly revenue target is AED 40,000. Performance-based incentives and growth opportunities are available. For the first month, the candidate is expected to close at least 30% of target. If the candidate does not bring at least 5 to 12 clients in one day, the engagement will be terminated.
Requirements
- Background in business development, sales, or marketing.
- Strong communication and negotiation ability.
- Comfort working independently and meeting targets.
- Working knowledge of CRM systems and sales workflows.
- Self-driven, goal-focused, and results-oriented mindset.
Qualifications
- Solid business understanding with experience in business development, client relationship management, and sales strategy.
- Exposure to market research, data analysis, and spotting growth opportunities.
- Proven ability to write proposals, deliver presentations, and negotiate contracts.
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills.
- Target-driven approach with a history of achieving or exceeding revenue goals.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative remote setup.
- Experience in digital marketing or a related area is an added advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related discipline is preferred.
