Job description

Role Overview

This position supports the Chief Development Officer in advancing growth plans for hotel management and branded residence opportunities within luxury hospitality. The role is centered on opportunity sourcing, market intelligence, relationship support, and coordination across internal teams to move prospects through the development pipeline.

Core Responsibilities

  • Help the Chief Development Officer deliver the company’s business development and expansion strategy across hotel management and branded residential projects.
  • Look for and study new opportunities in luxury hospitality, resort-led developments, and branded residential assets.
  • Contribute to relationship management with hotel owners, developers, family offices, and real estate investors.
  • Assist in creating pitch decks, presentations, proposals, and feasibility studies with direction from senior leaders.
  • Join early conversations with prospective partners and help move prospects through the development pipeline.
  • Work with internal functions such as development, design, operations, and technical services to align on opportunity evaluation and brand standards.
  • Maintain deal tracking, update pipeline status, and prepare regular progress reports for the Chief Development Officer.
  • Represent the business at selected industry events, meetings, and conferences to support lead generation and relationship development.
  • Carry out market and competitor analysis in luxury hospitality and branded residences to inform strategic decisions.

Skills & Competencies

  • Working knowledge of hospitality development, hotel management agreements, and branded residences.
  • Strong ability to build and sustain professional relationships with developers, investors, and hospitality stakeholders.
  • Commercial judgment to assess opportunities and support deal progression.
  • Confident communication and presentation skills, including support for pitches and proposals.
  • Strong organizational skills for pipeline management, reporting, and follow-up.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including development, design, and operations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Comfort in a fast-moving international work environment.
  • English fluency is essential; knowledge of other languages is advantageous.
