Role overview

Pravux Technologies Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a proactive and target-oriented Business Development Manager to support business expansion, nurture client partnerships, and spot fresh market opportunities. This position is centered on lead creation, new customer acquisition, and driving revenue through well-planned sales efforts.

Key responsibilities

  • Source, assess, and develop new business leads through networking, referrals, digital channels, and direct outreach.
  • Build and sustain long-term relationships with both prospective and current clients.
  • Evaluate client needs and work with internal teams to shape appropriate solutions and proposals.
  • Research the market, study competitors, and track new business trends.
  • Create and present business proposals, pitches, and presentations to potential customers.
  • Handle negotiations on pricing, contracts, and commercial terms.
  • Coordinate with project managers, business analysts, and technical teams to ensure a smooth transition from sale to onboarding.
  • Keep sales pipelines, forecasts, and performance reports updated in CRM systems.
  • Represent the company at events, conferences, and networking forums to open up new business avenues.
  • Meet monthly, quarterly, and annual targets for sales and revenue.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, Information Technology, or a related discipline is required.
  • At least 3 years of experience in business development, sales, client acquisition, or a similar role within the IT, software, or technology space.
  • A demonstrated history of meeting sales goals and supporting revenue growth.
  • Working knowledge of software development services, web applications, mobile applications, and digital solutions.
  • Strong abilities in communication, negotiation, presentations, and client relationship management.
  • Capability to understand client requirements and turn opportunities into durable business relationships.
  • Hands-on experience with CRM platforms and sales tracking tools.
  • Good analytical thinking combined with a strategic approach to business growth.

Preferred profile

  • Experience selling IT services, SaaS, software development, or digital transformation solutions.
  • Exposure to proposal preparation, estimation workflows, and project scoping.
  • Familiarity with lead generation platforms and outreach channels used for business development.
  • Strong networking skills and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively.
  • Understanding of Agile methods and the software project lifecycle.
