The Sales Development team is being scaled with customer-oriented representatives who will own outbound prospecting, help generate pipeline, and support Vanta’s move upmarket in a highly competitive space. Responsibilities
- Build a strong understanding of Vanta’s product and the value it delivers to customers.
- Identify and prioritise strategic accounts using tools such as Salesforce, ZoomInfo, Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and 6Sense.
- Create and manage a multi-channel prospecting strategy that improves reach and efficiency.
- Develop outreach sequences in Outreach to strengthen pipeline generation efforts.
- Schedule meetings for account executives and keep activity records updated.
- Handle objections smoothly while bringing strong interpersonal and technical communication skills to the role.
How to Succeed in This Role
- Be comfortable with cold calling, since it is a core part of the job.
- Maintain a strong work pace and discipline, as the role requires a daily minimum of 120 activities.
- Adapt quickly to changing situations and approach challenges with problem-solving skills.
- Think strategically when managing accounts and deciding where to focus effort.
- Use a structured multichannel prospecting method to maximise outreach impact.
- Be open to using AI thoughtfully to improve productivity and overall impact, while applying judgment responsibly.
