Role overview
Nebras Energy is looking for a Business Development Leader in Doha to support strategic expansion and launch new opportunities across the GCC. The position focuses on identifying growth avenues, assessing project viability, and developing partnerships with regional government bodies to win high-value collaborations in energy and water.
Key responsibilities
- Spot and assess new ventures that fit the company’s strategic direction.
- Develop and maintain productive relationships with local authorities and business organizations across the region.
- Create financial models and carry out practical feasibility studies for projects.
- Work closely with M&A and Finance teams to confirm whether opportunities are commercially sound.
- Track department budgets and flag financial deviations to leadership.
- Refine business strategies in response to live market intelligence.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Economics is required.
- Solid knowledge of the power, energy, and water industries is essential.
- At least 8 years of corporate growth experience in a large organization is needed.
- A minimum of 3 years in leadership-oriented roles is required.
- Strong teamwork and executive presentation abilities are important.
- Professional English communication is mandatory; Arabic is considered an advantage.
- Good awareness of business practices in Qatar and the wider GCC is necessary.
