Job description

About ClickBank

ClickBank is a global e-commerce and affiliate marketplace that supports both digital and physical products. The platform helps entrepreneurs launch online businesses and enables brands to create affiliate marketing programs. Its ecosystem includes affiliate marketplace capabilities, integrated payments, analytics, and risk management tools. Over more than two decades, the company has built a strong reputation for scale and dependability, and it has delivered $5 billion in commission payouts across more than 200 countries without missing a payment.

Role overview

The Business Intelligence Analyst will help teams make better decisions by turning data into reliable reports, thoughtful analysis, and clear recommendations. The role covers the full analytics workflow: interpreting business questions, writing SQL, creating and maintaining BI assets, investigating data quality issues, and presenting findings to stakeholders.

The BI environment uses Looker and Snowflake. Success in this role depends on strong SQL ability, solid analytical judgment, BI experience, and the ability to explain insights in a practical way.

What you will do

  • Work with stakeholders to clarify business questions, reporting needs, and decision points.
  • Ask the right follow-up questions to shape the best analytical approach.
  • Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and self-service BI content in Looker.
  • Support the Looker modeling layer by defining dimensions, measures, business definitions, and user-friendly structures.
  • Write SQL to support analysis, validation, reporting logic, and production data models.
  • Handle ad hoc analysis for questions that are not answered by standard reports.
  • Spot trends, interpret shifts in performance, and share actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Partner with Data Engineering to define business rules, verify data structures, and resolve data issues.
  • Maintain consistency in metric definitions, reporting logic, and documentation.
  • Help business users understand reports, metrics, and available data.
  • Use AI-assisted coding and analytics tools when helpful, while applying sound judgment and business context to verify results.

What is needed

  • Strong SQL skills for querying, analyzing, and validating data.
  • Hands-on experience building reports, dashboards, or self-service analytics in a BI tool such as Looker, Tableau, Power BI, or a similar platform.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
  • Ability to turn business questions into reporting or analytical solutions.
  • Working knowledge of relational databases, data warehousing concepts, or analytical data structures.
  • Ability to explain findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Comfort managing several priorities and adapting to changing requirements.
  • Curiosity about business processes and the ability to connect data insights to real decisions.
  • Strong attention to detail and a focus on accurate, trusted reporting.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or an equivalent mix of education and experience.
