Job description
Role overview
Parfums Christian Dior is looking for a Business Manager to oversee profitability for a specific retail location within the Retail team. The position plays a key part in driving sales performance, strengthening relationships with store leadership, and supporting the development and motivation of the sales team so the region can achieve its retail profit goals.
This role works in close coordination with Beauty Stylists, MCD Ambassadors where relevant, Selling Specialists, and Estheticians where applicable. The role is also guided by Dior’s brand values: creating passionately, crafting with joy, striving for the highest luxury standards, leading boldly, fostering inclusive collaboration, and helping re-enchant the world.
What you will do
- Oversee retail sell-through and ensure promotional activity is delivered effectively at the counter through the sales team, while meeting brand and retailer KPIs for both personal and counter productivity.
- Lead the team at the counter, including Beauty Stylists, Selling Specialists, Ambassadors where applicable, and Estheticians where applicable, with responsibility for hiring, recruitment, coaching, scheduling, and payroll administration.
- Set productivity expectations for events and sales activity, and work with the Account Executive to make sure each counter event delivers a positive return on investment.
- Work with the Account Executive and the corporate Education team to identify learning needs, then help deliver product and sales training that strengthens selling skills, client registration activity, and service quality.
- Enable team members to run and develop special events and programs at the counter.
- Use CRM tools to build lasting client relationships and support the team in keeping customer profiles up to date.
- Encourage the team to build useful connections across the retailer and in the local community to create business partnerships.
- Guide the team on maintaining the Dior counter standard, including cleanliness, dress code, merchandising presentation, and correct product placement.
- Support retail buyers and planners with the ordering process.
- Carry out monthly productivity reviews for all Beauty Stylists at the counter, covering demonstration productivity, AUS, and IPT.
- Track event results and sampling activity, and complete and submit promotional recap forms to the Account Executive at the end of each promotion.
- Perform other role-related duties as required.
