Job description

About the Company

Bezos.ai runs a fulfilment-as-a-service platform for online merchants. Sellers connect storefronts such as Amazon, eBay and Shopify, and the platform coordinates the rest by sending orders to a worldwide network of warehouse and delivery partners, monitoring parcels until they reach the customer, and providing one unified view of the supply chain. The team is small, quick to move, and built around AI-first ways of working, with the business expected to nearly double in 2026. In this environment, operations is the core engine: when it performs well, sellers scale and the platform grows stronger.

Role Mission

In this role, you will take full ownership of a significant part of operations and create the systems, automations and playbooks that allow the network to grow without a matching increase in headcount. You will manage the day-to-day pulse of the platform by ensuring tickets are handled within SLA, reconciling data across multiple systems, finding orders that have stalled or gone missing, pushing warehouses and carriers to meet their service commitments, and converting repeated operational issues into long-term fixes. These fixes may take the form of Claude skills or agents, Retool dashboards, or Make automations that you create directly.

What Success Looks Like

  • Maintain a clean operational flow by checking the Bezos platform, WMS and operations dashboard every day, then identifying and resolving missing, delayed or mismatched orders before customers or sellers are affected.
  • Keep warehouse and carrier partners accountable by tracking their SLA performance and managing invoice checks, escalations and reconciliation against agreed rate cards.
  • Reduce manual effort by replacing repetitive tasks with Claude-powered skills or agents, automations and dashboards so the team can increase output without expanding headcount.
  • Resolve seller-facing tickets quickly, diagnose the underlying cause and implement upstream fixes so the same problem does not keep returning.
  • Within the first 90 days, take ownership of daily cross-system reconciliation and drive unresolved order exceptions close to zero.
  • Deliver at least one automation, Claude skill or agent that removes a recurring manual task from the team’s weekly workload.
  • Independently manage one section of the warehouse/carrier portfolio, including performance reviews and invoice reconciliation.
  • Improve at least one company OKR such as despatch rate, contact rate or resolution time, and present the results in the weekly metrics review.

Requirements

  • You must be comfortable building with AI tools beyond simple chat use. The team expects hands-on experience creating something that runs independently with Claude or a similar tool, such as a skill, agent or automated workflow, along with evidence of what it does, how it operates unattended, and where human review is still included.
  • You should be able to work independently, tackle complex problems from start to finish, and need only light direction. The ideal person is usually ahead of what has been asked and can fully own a key result.
  • A strong numerical and analytical background is required, typically through a degree or equivalent ability in a quantitative field such as engineering, mathematics, physics, computer science, or a highly quantitative economics, finance or social science path.
  • You need a history of measurable results, with clear examples of impact such as reducing cost, improving a KPI or speeding up a process, rather than only listing responsibilities.
  • You should naturally improve broken processes by building tools, commissioning solutions or redesigning workflows so that others can rely on them over time.
  • Startup environments should energise you: you should be comfortable with ambiguity, fast execution, broad scope and full ownership of outcomes.
  • Strong written and verbal communication is essential, including the ability to explain findings clearly and say what action should be taken next.
  • Helpful but not essential: exposure to e-commerce, logistics, 3PL or supply chain work; basic coding or no-code tools such as Python, SQL, JavaScript, Make, Zapier, Retool or Airtable; experience managing external partners against SLAs; or experience mentoring, training or supervising 1-2 people.

Benefits

  • Work within a genuinely AI-first team, using Claude, Retool and Make every day with real budget and freedom to automate parts of your own role.
  • Enjoy the chance to shape your position in a fast-growing company that is helping define the future of e-commerce.
  • Be part of an entrepreneurial, fast-moving, outcome-oriented and disciplined environment that is also collaborative, team-focused and enjoyable.
  • Gain strong opportunities for growth, learning and personal development, with the ability to make a visible impact.
  • The team works remotely, while meeting in person a couple of times each month.
  • Annual leave includes 25 holidays plus 8 bank holidays.
  • Mental health support is provided through Spill, along with a free Headspace subscription.
