Role overview

Vistas Global is hiring a Business Operations Specialist to serve as an Operations Subject Matter Expert for core banking transformation initiatives in Doha, Qatar. The role focuses on supporting Temenos T24 programs across retail and corporate back-office operations, with a strong emphasis on banking process design, business analysis, and implementation support.

Key responsibilities

• Provide subject matter expertise for retail and corporate banking operations throughout T24 transformation projects.
• Gather business needs and convert them into detailed requirements documents such as BRDs and FSDs, while maintaining tight control over scope and vendor coordination.
• Design the target operating model, map banking processes, and define the business rules that govern operations.
• Support data migration efforts, including data cleansing, mapping, and reconciliation of balances.
• Coordinate and lead testing and UAT activities, including defect review and validation of requirements.
• Support change management and training by preparing SOPs, user guides, and materials needed to ensure operational readiness.

Experience required

The position calls for more than 11 years of experience in Temenos Core Banking transformation work in a client-facing BA or SME capacity. Candidates should bring strong exposure to Middle East retail and corporate Islamic banking, including experience with accounts, deposits, financing, and payments. A Temenos certification is required, along with at least 5 years of experience in Islamic AA and TPH implementations.
