Job description
About the practice
Capgemini Invent’s Business Technology group advises organizations on how to make smarter technology choices: where to invest, how to govern those investments, and how to convert them into measurable business impact. The practice works mainly with financial services clients in banking and insurance, while also taking on selected projects in other industries.
The SEA team is deliberately compact, operating in small, high-performing groups with minimal hierarchy and direct contact with client leaders. Team members take on meaningful responsibility early and work on significant programs where senior stakeholders expect sharp analysis and clear recommendations.
Role overview
As a Manager, you will help shape direction, drive the business forward, demonstrate the firm’s values and behaviours, and support the growth of junior colleagues. You will work closely with client teams to bring structure to ambiguous business problems, evaluate complex information, and develop roadmaps that support major transformation initiatives.
In this role, you will connect business objectives with the technology required to deliver them. You will lead client engagements by advising CIOs and CTOs on IT strategy and technology transformation so that technology better enables business outcomes.
Key focus areas
- Large program steering: Set up governance and delivery discipline for complex, multi-year transformation programs, creating a control-tower view across business and technology.
- Enterprise architecture: Define technology blueprints that support major investment choices and keep the client’s IT landscape coherent, scalable, and aligned to strategy.
- IT cost and value management: Review technology portfolios, identify ways to optimize spend, build business cases, and help CIOs explain the strategic and financial value of their initiatives.
- AI at scale: Help clients move from experimentation to deployment by designing strategy, operating models, and governance for responsible use of agentic and generative AI in regulated settings.
Candidate profile
You should bring substantial consulting or transformation experience and be comfortable working at senior levels with demanding stakeholders. The role calls for a mix of commercial leadership, analytical rigor, and strong communication skills.
Why this role
Capgemini offers access to large, ambitious programs, while this practice provides a different environment: smaller teams, close proximity to senior colleagues and client decision-makers, and career growth that is strongly tied to your contribution. Flexible working is supported, and the practice is focused on building long-term careers.
Additional information
This role is based in Singapore and is full-time, onsite.
The position is with Capgemini Invent.
Terms and conditions
Shortlisted candidates are expected to work on client-facing engagements that may require leading workshops, participating in steering committees, and producing clear, defensible deliverables.
The practice values rigorous thinking, direct communication, and the ability to operate with a high degree of ownership.
