This opportunity is for an energetic and results-focused Category Executive to join the category function in Dublin.
What you'll do
- Maintain supplier price records and resolve any pricing queries that arise.
- Add new product ranges, raise purchase orders, and help ensure promotional and seasonal stock arrives on time.
- Keep Repak packaging details and space-planning data current in the system.
- Update promotional files with the information needed by the marketing team.
- Ask suppliers for promotional discounts and special offers.
- Make sure trading agreements are current and properly stored.
- Work with Far East suppliers on purchase orders, packaging specifications, shipping marks, and the creation of letters of credit.
- Monitor container movement and follow up with suppliers so stock ships as planned.
- Review container arrivals, confirm the appropriate duty has been paid, book goods in, and allocate stock where required.
- Liaise with accounts and store teams to resolve day-to-day operational issues.
