Job description
Role overview
Emirates is hiring cabin crew members who can represent the airline with warmth, professionalism, and calm confidence. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers on board, offering guidance, reassurance, and attentive support throughout the journey.
This position goes beyond in-flight service. Safety, security, and smooth aircraft operations are central to the job, and you will be expected to handle these responsibilities with confidence after training at Emirates’ facility in Dubai.
What the role involves
- Support passengers and act as the airline’s face on board.
- Provide helpful direction and attentive service to travelers from diverse backgrounds.
- Manage cabin service while keeping safety and security procedures as the top priority.
- Take charge when needed during aircraft service and emergency-related procedures.
- Maintain a professional, solution-focused approach in a demanding schedule.
Qualifications and experience
- At least 1 year of experience in hospitality or customer service.
- A positive, service-driven mindset with the ability to work well in a multicultural team.
- Minimum education of high school completion (Grade 12).
- Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
- Height of at least 160 cm, with the ability to reach 212 cm while standing on tiptoes, to access emergency equipment on all aircraft types.
- No visible tattoos while wearing the Emirates cabin crew uniform unless they are covered with bandages or cosmetics.
- Must be based in Dubai as cabin crew and meet UAE employment visa requirements.
Additional expectations
The airline is looking for candidates who consistently deliver to a high standard, remain adaptable, and provide an authentic customer experience. You should also reflect Emirates’ professional, empathetic, progressive, visionary, and cosmopolitan image, while being culturally aware and comfortable with a busy work routine.
Pay and benefits
The compensation package includes three parts: a fixed monthly base salary, hourly flying pay for operated flights, and an overseas meal allowance. The stated base salary is AED 4,980 per month, with flying pay of AED 69.60 per hour based on an average of 80 to 100 hours per month. The average total monthly pay is AED 11,244, which is approximately USD 3,100, EUR 2,600, or GBP 2,280 for Grade II (Economy Class).
Meal allowances for night stops are added to salary in arrears the following month. The company also provides hotel accommodation and airport transfers, along with relocation support to help new joiners settle in Dubai. Additional benefits include tax-free pay, profit sharing, concessional travel, free accommodation, transportation, medical coverage, life insurance, dental insurance, and discounted flights for friends and family.
Location note
Although this opportunity is being promoted in the Greater Toronto Area, the actual base for cabin crew is Dubai.
