Role overview

Emirates is seeking cabin crew who can bring warmth, composure, and adaptability to every journey. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers on board, offering guidance, assistance, and a reassuring presence throughout the flight.

This is not just a service position. Safety is the top priority, and the job requires confident leadership when handling aircraft service, security, and safety procedures. Training is delivered in Dubai at a dedicated, modern learning facility.

What the role involves

You will represent the airline in front of customers from around the world, ensuring a smooth and comfortable travel experience while maintaining the highest safety standards. The role calls for professionalism, empathy, cultural awareness, and the ability to stay solution-focused in a demanding schedule.

Qualifications and experience

  • More than 1 year of experience in hospitality or customer service is required.
  • A positive attitude and strong customer-facing presence are essential, especially in a multicultural team environment.
  • The minimum educational qualification is completion of high school, Grade 12.
  • Strong written and spoken English is mandatory.
  • You must be at least 160 cm tall and able to reach 212 cm while standing on tiptoes so emergency equipment can be accessed on all aircraft types.
  • Visible tattoos are not permitted while wearing the Emirates cabin crew uniform unless they are fully covered with bandages or cosmetics.
  • Cabin crew are based in Dubai and must meet UAE employment visa requirements.

Candidates should be determined to maintain high standards at all times, comfortable with a busy and irregular work pattern, and able to create a genuine and memorable customer experience. Salary and benefits

Compensation is made up of three parts: a fixed monthly base salary, hourly flying pay for operated flights, and an overseas meal allowance.

Indicative pay for Grade II (Economy Class) is AED 4,980 per month as base salary, plus AED 69.60 per flight hour based on an average of 80 to 100 hours per month. The average total pay is about AED 11,244 per month, which is approximately USD 3,100, EUR 2,600, or GBP 2,280.

Meal allowances for night stops are added to salary in the following month.

Company-provided benefits include hotel accommodation, airport transportation, a tax-free salary, flying pay, profit share, concessional travel, relocation assistance for settling in Dubai, free accommodation and transport, medical insurance, life insurance, dental insurance, and discounted flights for friends and family.
