Job Overview
Join our client site in the Biopharmaceutical sector as a Calibration Planner, based in a state-of-the-art facility in Dunboyne, County Meath, Ireland. This role is crucial for executing, planning, and scheduling all calibration tasks to ensure operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Develop and schedule calibration tasks (PMs, CMs, CALs) with a focus on Right First Time (RFT) execution.
- Collaborate with client engineers and technicians to ensure necessary tooling, spares, and vendor resources are available for calibration activities.
- Coordinate with manufacturing planners, schedulers, and other key departments like Supply Chain, Quality, Projects, and Validation to align work schedules.
- Adapt to schedule changes dynamically, manage service request follow-ups, and maintain backlog efficiency.
- Plan calibration activities in collaboration with Production, Utilities, Labs, and Warehouse teams.
- Analyze Work Order (WO) data and trends to monitor and improve planning, scheduling, and execution processes.
- Support vendor management in calibration planning efforts.
- Lead and execute improvement projects focused on safety, quality, reliability, delivery, and cost reduction.
- Assist senior leadership in evaluating High-Level Schedule (HLS) changes and forecasting the impact of significant calibration works.
- Manage contingent worker resources for planning and scheduling calibration activities in Clean Utilities and detailed daily tasks in Upstream/Downstream suites.
Skills Required
- Possess a Level 7 or Level 8 Engineering qualification or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a relevant role within a regulated manufacturing environment.
- Experience with process equipment in biologics, pharma, chemical, or food manufacturing facilities is advantageous.
- Familiarity with maintenance optimization techniques.
- Proficiency in SAP or a similar Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Demonstrated high attention to detail and strong problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all organizational levels.
Education and Certifications
- A Diploma or Degree (Level 7) in a relevant engineering discipline is required.
- Proof of education, licenses, and certifications will be requested as applicable.
