Job Summary

FedEx Canada is seeking a dedicated CAN Driver to join their team in Moncton, New Brunswick. This role involves the courteous and efficient pick-up and delivery of packages along an assigned route, ensuring all shipments comply with FedEx Canada's service features. The position also requires performing related customer service functions.

Responsibilities

  • Execute timely and courteous pick-up and delivery of packages on a designated route.
  • Verify that all shipments meet FedEx Canada's service standards.
  • Provide excellent customer service throughout the delivery and pick-up process.
  • Operate company vehicles safely and efficiently.
  • Manage package handling, including lifting up to 70 lbs and maneuvering packages up to 150 lbs with appropriate equipment.
  • Maintain accurate delivery and pick-up records.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety regulations.
  • Be flexible to work different schedules, including holidays, as dictated by business needs.

Requirements

  • Possession of a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift 70 lbs and maneuver packages up to 150 lbs using necessary equipment.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in a customer-oriented business environment is preferred.
  • Successful completion of mandatory pre-placement driver assessment training.
  • Familiarity with FedEx Canada operations and Canadian Customs regulations is advantageous.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Effective time management and organizational abilities.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Capacity to multitask, manage stress, and perform effectively in a high-pressure environment.
  • Willingness to adapt to varying schedules and work on holidays.
  • For candidates in Quebec, bilingualism (French and English) is required.
  • Candidates applying for driving roles must have a valid license (e.g., Class 5, G, or 1[AZ]) and no more than two infractions/accidents in the preceding 24 months.
