Job description
About the role
Lyft is looking for a hands-on leader to sit at the center of daily talent acquisition coordination. In this position, you will guide the scheduling team, set clear expectations for service quality, coach team members through complex situations, and work with recruiting partners to smooth out friction in the candidate journey.
The job is split about evenly between people leadership and direct operational work. The ideal candidate is a practical operator who is confident using the tools, engaged in developing others, and always looking for better ways to work.
What you'll do
- Set and maintain service standards for scheduling work, including turnaround time, ticket handling, and interview confirmation, while ensuring the team can meet those standards consistently.
- Identify workflow issues before they turn into escalations, use data to support decisions, and look for ways to simplify, automate, or remove manual tasks. When you spot an improvement, you are expected to drive it into action.
- Onboard, coach, and develop individual contributors by identifying skill gaps and giving timely, specific, and practical feedback.
- Help the team build confidence with new tools and updated ways of working by modeling curiosity and a problem-solving mindset.
- Gather feedback from candidates and stakeholders, find breakdowns in communication or scheduling, and lead changes that improve the experience.
- Use deep knowledge of scheduling systems, coordination workflows, data quality, and automation tools to mentor others and improve team performance.
- Contribute to broader recruiting and talent acquisition process-improvement efforts, including work that supports TA objectives and organizational OKRs.
- Build strong working relationships with talent acquisition leaders and hiring teams to support effective scheduling, better interview practices, and strong candidate experience.
Experience and qualifications
You should bring 4 to 6 years of experience in recruitment coordination or talent acquisition operations, along with some experience leading or mentoring others.
The role calls for strong familiarity with scheduling tools and coordination systems, a careful approach to data accuracy, and a proven ability to improve processes through automation or workflow redesign.
You should also be comfortable working with metrics, balancing several priorities at once, and delivering feedback in a constructive and thoughtful way. Collaboration, follow-through, and trust-building with recruiters, hiring managers, and candidates are important parts of the job.
Benefits and perks
- Medical, dental, and vision coverage, with additional programs available when enrolled.
- Mental health support.
- Family-building support.
- Child care and pet-related benefits.
- 401(k) plan with company match.
- Paid time off plus 12 observed holidays; salaried team members receive discretionary PTO, while hourly team members receive 15 days of PTO.
- 18 weeks of paid parental leave for biological, adoptive, and foster parents.
- Subsidized commuter benefits.
- Monthly Lyft credits and complimentary Lyft Pink membership.
Work arrangement
This is a hybrid role based in Nashville. Once Lyft’s Nashville office is established, team members are expected to work on-site three days per week: Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Working in the office at least three days weekly is an essential part of the role. The position also includes the flexibility to work from anywhere for up to 4 weeks per year.

Lyft is committed to building an inclusive workplace where people belong and can thrive. All qualified applicants are considered for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, veteran status, age, genetic information, or any other protected basis.
