About the Role
HomeWell Care Services is hiring a compassionate caregiver to support seniors in their homes. This role is focused on one-to-one, non-medical assistance that helps older adults remain safely and comfortably in their own homes while preserving dignity, independence, and companionship.
What You’ll Do
- Provide companionship and social support to clients.
- Assist with light meal preparation, tidying, and basic household cleaning.
- Help with bathing, grooming, and toileting as needed.
- Support movement and mobility, and give reminders for medications.
- Drive clients to appointments and run errands when required.
What We’re Looking For
- A CNA or HHA credential is preferred, or equivalent hands-on care experience: 6 months of full-time work or 12 months of part-time work with geriatric or chronically ill individuals.
- Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
- Reliable transportation is required; if you will transport clients, you must also have a valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
- Current TB test documentation is required.
- You must be physically able to carry out the duties of the position.
- The ideal candidate is mature, dependable, caring, and punctual.
- Ability to pass national and state-required criminal background screening.
