Job description

About the Company

Gallagher exists to protect what matters most, with a strong commitment to its people, their families, and the communities around them. The business is in an important growth phase, with Gallagher Security expanding its reach across New Zealand and internationally, supported by operations in New Zealand, Australia, Asia, Africa, the USA, Canada, and Europe, and exports to more than 140 countries. This is a chance to join a New Zealand technology success story with global influence.

About the Role

Reporting to the Chief Operations Manager, the Change Manager will take ownership of shaping and embedding change initiatives that strengthen business growth, improve operational maturity, and build organisational capability.

You will collaborate with leaders, project teams, and other stakeholders to design, communicate, and integrate changes across systems, processes, structures, and everyday ways of working. The role is centered on reducing disruption, improving readiness, encouraging adoption, and making sure change creates sustainable outcomes.

You will also help foster continuous improvement by supporting teams to adopt standardised processes, new systems, and scalable practices that suit a growing business.

This position calls for a collaborative professional who can lead change effectively, engage stakeholders confidently, and work through complexity with a practical, results-oriented mindset.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the rollout of Salesforce as Gallagher Security’s Revenue Operations Platform.
  • Create and execute change strategies and action plans that align with business goals.
  • Evaluate the effects of change, including risks, dependencies, and organisational readiness across programmes.
  • Work with leaders to strengthen communication, participation, and user adoption.
  • Guide teams through transitions in systems, processes, and working methods.
  • Coordinate training and capability-building initiatives with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Set up feedback channels, track adoption progress, and address resistance or readiness gaps.
  • Contribute to embedding continuous improvement and practical change approaches across the organisation.

About You

You are an accomplished change professional who can connect strategy with delivery and bring people along through transition. You build credibility quickly, communicate with clarity, and know how to support leaders and teams through shifting priorities, new systems, and process changes. You are comfortable managing several initiatives at once, identifying risks and readiness issues, and adapting your approach to match the pace and maturity of the business.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated background in change management, transformation, or organisational change roles.
  • Strong ability in stakeholder engagement, communication, and coaching.
  • Hands-on experience with change planning, impact assessment, and business readiness work.
  • Working knowledge of structured change frameworks such as Prosci, ADKAR, or similar methods.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with a practical, delivery-focused approach.
  • Confidence partnering with leaders, project teams, and external providers to support adoption success.

Working at Gallagher

This role offers the opportunity to influence meaningful change within a well-recognised New Zealand technology company at a significant stage of growth. You will work with capable, collaborative colleagues and help shape how change is delivered so that the business can scale effectively.

  • Office-based role with the flexibility to work from home occasionally.
  • Flexible working hours to better suit your life.
  • Life insurance and disability insurance.
  • KiwiSaver contribution on top of salary.
