Role Overview
Azul is hiring a seasoned and driven Channel Account Manager to expand its partner network across the United Kingdom, Ireland, and Northern Europe. This position calls for strong initiative, energy, and the ability to help advance both smaller opportunities and complex, multi-million-dollar deals with enterprise customers, including Fortune 500 organizations.
The role focuses on identifying potential partners, engaging them with product education, and converting interest into qualified opportunities. You will work closely with marketing and sales teams to build and run programs that generate and progress leads.
Key Responsibilities
- Spot, assess, and prioritize potential partners who can resell Azul products through their customer networks and partner programs.
- Explain the partner program to prospects, including expectations, requirements, and deliverables.
- Create opportunities from prospecting activity and marketing-generated leads.
- Respond quickly to inbound partner enquiries, engage them effectively, and qualify their interest.
- Work alongside sales and marketing colleagues to shape partner-focused sales strategies and improve productivity.
- Design and carry out an effective outreach plan for acquiring new partners across the UK, Ireland, and Northern Europe.
- Keep SFDC records current so the sales cycle advances smoothly and lead qualification data remains accurate.
- Share detailed partner-recruitment updates with Account Executives and the regional VP of Sales.
- Deliver onboarding, enablement, and ongoing training to partners through the partner portal.
- Maintain complete and accurate documentation of partner calls, emails, notes, tasks, demos, and related activity in line with company policy.
- Travel within the region as needed.
Experience and Qualifications
Applicants should bring more than 10 years of channel sales experience, ideally working with top-tier global partners such as SoftwareOne, Insight, SHI, and Logicalis across the UK and Northern Europe. A minimum of 5 years of exposure to development platforms or development tools is also required.
A bachelor’s degree is expected, and an MBA is considered an advantage. Previous direct sales experience will also be beneficial. Familiarity with SFDC and Clari is preferred, along with strong verbal and written communication, excellent organization and time management, and solid negotiation ability.
Benefits and Culture
- Comprehensive compensation and healthcare coverage.
- Referral program.
- Remote-first working style with work-life balance support, paid time off, company shutdown periods, and holidays.
- Opportunity to work with leading experts around the world who contribute to the Java ecosystem.
