Role Overview
Saudia Dairy & Foodstuff Company (SADAFCO) is looking for a Channel Development Manager to lead channel growth, improve in-store execution, and strengthen customer partnerships in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the financial performance of assigned channels and ensure plans support sustainable growth.
- Build annual channel plans and align them with business growth targets.
- Develop business cases that assess project feasibility, including capital spending, operational needs, revenue potential, and return on investment.
- Coordinate with Government Relations to secure the required permissions for execution in a timely manner.
- Create and maintain relationships with customers who can support permit handling on their side.
- Partner with Field Sales Operations to make sure priority customers receive the right service levels and deliveries.
- Plan and execute frozen in-store activities, on-ground activation, and visibility initiatives.
- Develop creative visibility assets for customers from concept and design through deployment.
- Run in-store promotions, including point-of-sale materials and display setup.
- Support experiential marketing and activation programs that increase shopper engagement.
- Work alongside marketing and merchandising teams to keep brand visibility and customer experience consistent.
- Create and implement channel development strategies based on the needs of each channel and customer.
- Prepare planograms for different sales channels and freezer or cabinet formats.
- Manage channel budgets and use resources efficiently to improve return on investment.
- Review market information, sales trends, and promotion performance to refine future plans.
- Build and maintain a promotional calendar across channels in line with brand and business priorities.
- Ensure campaigns are delivered on time across all relevant channels.
- Work with Sales, Commercial, and Supply Chain teams to align channel plans with broader business needs.
- Coordinate with Marketing, Brand, and Digital teams to deliver integrated campaigns and consistent messaging.
- Train and guide field sales teams on channel development activities and execution standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years of relevant sales experience managing non-traditional channels with a leading FMCG company.
- Background in business development, partnership building, and relationship management.
- Strong understanding of distribution, channel management, and in-store execution.
- Hands-on experience with channel development campaigns, visibility materials, planograms, and budget control.
- Proven ability to work across Sales, Commercial, Supply Chain, and Marketing functions.
- Fluency in both Arabic and English.

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia.
