Role Overview

In this remote Charge Entry Clerk position, you will support internal teams by handling administrative work for the Charge Entry Department. The role suits someone who is comfortable in a fast-moving, collaborative setting and who can bring strong technical ability, good communication, and a willingness to learn.

Location

This is a remote role available only to candidates based in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Massachusetts, Michigan, Missouri, North Carolina, New Hampshire, Ohio, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas, Wisconsin, and West Virginia.

Key Responsibilities

  • Check transfer-date auto report totals and process imported encounter totals in the Ntierprise/Allscripts environment.
  • Review transaction reports and update provider, site, and alignment details for MVA, workers’ compensation, Medicaid, and insurance cases as needed.
  • Examine claim reports and validation results, then correct insurance and patient registration information.
  • Fix registration records that have been entered into the Ntierprise/Allscripts system.

Required Qualifications

  • Strong 10-key data entry capability.
  • Comfort using Microsoft 365 tools, including Teams, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Clear written and spoken communication skills.

Preferred Background

  • Experience in medical billing or administrative work is an advantage.
  • Prior exposure to Allscripts is helpful.
