NU Advisory Partners is supporting the search for a Chief Operating Officer for a premium, multi-location services business that is preparing for its next stage of expansion. The selected leader will own day-to-day operations across several customer-facing lines of business, making sure standards stay consistent, execution remains disciplined, and teams work in sync. This position calls for a visible, practical operator who can bring structure, pace, and accountability while protecting the company’s culture, guest experience, and long-term growth. The role is based onsite and requires relocation internationally.

Operational leadership and execution
- Oversee daily operations across multiple business units with an emphasis on service quality, consistency, and financial results.
- Establish operating cadences, reporting systems, KPI frameworks, and cross-functional workflows that enable scale and accountability.
- Make sure teams have clear priorities, ownership, and execution standards in a fast-moving operating environment.
- Maintain a balance between active field presence and strong administrative follow-through.
Customer experience and service standards
- Direct service delivery across customer-facing and high-touch offerings.
- Create a unified service standard that supports loyalty, engagement, and reputation over the long term.
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure consistency across teams, experiences, and touchpoints.
- Stay highly visible with customers, prospects, partners, and other key stakeholders.
Commercial and cross-functional partnership
- Partner with sales, commercial, and business development teams to support growth and improve the customer experience.
- Ensure the operating model supports broader commercial objectives and long-term value creation.
- Remove silos between functions and strengthen alignment among service delivery, operations, sales, and administrative teams.
- Act as a senior operating partner to ownership and executive leadership.
External relations and brand stewardship
- Represent the organization to external stakeholders, community leaders, partners, and other high-value relationships.
- Serve as a polished ambassador for the brand, reflecting its standards, tone, and service expectations.
- Build credibility and trust with ownership, partners, employees, customers, and local stakeholders.
- Support community, sustainability, and long-term stewardship priorities alongside relevant leaders.
Team leadership and culture
- Lead, develop, and unify a diverse team across multiple functions.
- Promote a collaborative culture centered on accountability, service excellence, integrity, and continuous improvement.
- Strengthen leadership capability and talent at different levels of the organization.
- Make effective decisions quickly in complex, ambiguous, or disruptive situations.
Qualifications and experience
- Background in senior operational leadership within hospitality, premium services, resorts, clubs, or similarly complex multi-unit customer-facing settings.
- Proven experience managing complex, cross-functional operations with meaningful P&L responsibility.
- History of building operating systems, reporting discipline, KPI tracking, and cross-functional management processes.
- Strong grasp of premium service expectations, repeat-customer relationships, and high-touch stakeholder management.
- Ability to lead from the field while maintaining strong financial and administrative discipline.
- Experience working across cultures and influencing varied stakeholder groups with credibility and emotional intelligence.
- Multilingual ability, or prior experience operating across cultures, is preferred.
- Executive presence with the ability to represent the organization externally and earn the confidence of senior stakeholders.
- Collaborative leadership approach with the ability to eliminate silos, build teams, and establish consistent standards across functions.
- Willingness and ability to relocate to Central America and maintain a strong onsite presence with teams, guests, customers, and ownership.
