Job description

About CarCred

CarCred is building a multi-lender auto finance orchestration platform for India, designed to streamline how dealerships connect with banks and NBFCs. The platform already works with more than 26 lending partners through live API integrations and includes connections for CIBIL, bureau pulls, Account Aggregator, and stock management.

The company is backed by an OEM Comfort Letter from MG Motor India, which opens access to 500+ dealerships across India. CarCred is currently running a P0 pilot and is also preparing for a Series A raise of 50 Cr. The founder brings over 15 years of experience in automotive dealerships across MG Motor, Kia, Mahindra, and Tata in Chhattisgarh, giving the business strong on-ground credibility with both dealers and lenders.

Role Overview

CarCred is hiring a practical, execution-driven Chief Operating Officer to take charge of day-to-day business operations from end to end. This person will act as the company’s operational anchor during the transition from pilot stage to scale.

You will work closely with the Founder and CEO and fully own the execution layer, allowing leadership to stay focused on fundraising, OEM partnerships, and broader growth strategy.

Key Responsibilities

The role covers pilot execution, dealer and lender operations, team management, and cross-functional coordination. The goal is to ensure all operational activity moves smoothly and the CEO is not burdened with daily firefighting.

Operational Priorities

  • Lead the July 2026 P0 pilot from start to finish, including dealer onboarding, lender coordination, and launch milestones.
  • Set up daily and weekly performance dashboards and ensure the team stays aligned with timelines and targets.
  • Remove operational bottlenecks between dealership operations, technology, and banking partners.
  • Oversee dealer acquisition activities, including prospecting, onboarding, activation, and retention.
  • Coordinate with 26+ banking and NBFC partners to keep API-level and operational integrations running smoothly.
  • Design standard operating procedures and scalable onboarding playbooks for expansion to 500+ dealerships across India.
  • Run daily standups, weekly reviews, and monthly operational reporting cycles.
  • Create the internal operating framework, including reporting systems, escalation processes, and delegation structures.
  • Recruit, guide, and develop the core operations team as the company grows after Series A.
  • Serve as the bridge between product, technology, and sales teams to keep execution on track.
  • Take ownership of day-to-day issue resolution so the CEO can remain focused on strategic priorities.

What We Are Looking For

The ideal candidate brings deep operating experience in high-volume, channel-led, or lending-focused businesses and is comfortable building structure in a fast-moving startup environment.

  • 10 to 15 years of experience in fintech, NBFCs, auto lending, or B2B businesses with heavy channel operations.
  • Strong history of scaling field operations such as dealer networks, DSA channels, or multi-city teams.
  • Prior experience delivering a pilot-to-scale rollout with strict deadlines in a startup setting.
  • Ability to build processes and operating systems from the ground up rather than only managing existing ones.
  • Comfort working with API-based products and understanding technology workflows without needing to code.
  • Willingness and ability to be based in Raipur or travel there frequently, as this requirement is mandatory.

Preferred Background

  • Experience in auto finance or dealership technology companies such as Kuwy, Spinny, Cars24, OLX Autos, or similar businesses.
  • Exposure to companies at the Series A to Series C stage.
  • Working knowledge of auto lending economics, LTV/LTI ratios, or NBFC payout structures.
  • Experience reporting directly to a founder or CEO in a high-accountability role.

Additional Information

This position is based in Raipur, India. The compensation offered is in the range of INR 18,00,000 to INR 27,50,000 per year. No internship duration or start date has been specified.
