Role Overview

Dynamic Search Consulting (DSC) is a retained executive search firm with a focus on VP and C-level hiring across a wide range of functions and industries throughout the United States. This opening is not tied to a specific active search; instead, it represents the kind of executive profile the firm regularly places. What You Will Do

  • Set the operating direction for the business and ensure consistent execution across teams in line with company goals and the private equity investment case.
  • Improve growth by tightening operational discipline, sharpening go-to-market execution, increasing retention and expansion revenue, and streamlining processes.
  • Establish strong management rhythms around KPIs, forecasting, financial results, accountability, resource allocation, and performance tracking.
  • Work closely with the CEO, Board, finance, sales, product, technology, and customer success leaders to keep daily execution aligned with strategic priorities and the value creation plan.
  • Upgrade core business operations, internal systems, team design, and leadership accountability to support scale, profitability, and enterprise value growth.
  • Assess opportunities for strategic expansion and operational improvement, including process redesign, organizational structure, partnerships, merger and acquisition integration, and exit preparedness.
  • Act as a dependable operating partner to the CEO, Board, private equity sponsor, employees, customers, and other key stakeholders.

Candidate Profile

The firm is seeking an executive who has already led at a high level in a growth-oriented software or technology business and can bring both strategic thinking and practical operating depth.

  • Background as a COO, President, GM, CRO, or other senior operating leader in a high-growth SaaS, enterprise software, or technology company.
  • Hands-on experience helping a recurring revenue software business mature operationally, expand efficiently, and build stronger execution habits.
  • Prior work in a private equity-backed environment is highly desirable.
  • Strong commercial and operational judgment, with evidence of improving ARR, retention, customer expansion, EBITDA, and cross-functional delivery.
  • Solid command of SaaS financial metrics such as ARR, gross margin, churn, NRR, CAC, LTV, EBITDA, Rule of 40, forecast quality, and operating leverage.
  • Experience working alongside CEOs, Boards, investors, and private equity sponsors.
  • Exposure to mergers and acquisitions, business transformation, integration, process improvement, or exit planning would be beneficial.
  • A track record of scaling organizations from $20M to $100M ARR while improving operating performance, growing teams, and contributing to a successful exit is preferred.
