Role overview
Protect Middle East LLC is seeking a driven and detail-focused QA/QC Engineer to support quality assurance and quality control activities on site in Dubai. The role involves handling inspection documentation, coordinating with consultants, and ensuring that civil works and waterproofing-related tasks meet required standards.
Key requirements
- Strong command of English, both spoken and written.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office applications.
- Working familiarity with Acone.
- Hands-on experience in preparing WIRs and MIRs, along with maintaining the associated logs.
- Prior exposure to site inspections and coordination with consultants.
- Good understanding of QC procedures and document control.
- Knowledge of waterproofing systems such as bituminous, cementitious, and liquid-applied solutions will be an advantage.
- Awareness of substrate checks and waterproofing details, including pipe penetrations, joints, and sump pits, will be beneficial.
- Experience with flood testing, mockups, and quality checks is preferred.
- Ability to create inspection reports, punch lists, and photo records.
- Relevant experience of 1 to 2 years.
