Job Summary
This role is based in Thunder Bay, Ontario, and follows an overnight schedule from Sunday to Thursday, 10:00 pm to 6:00 am. The posted wage is $17.60 per hour. This opening is for an existing vacancy. The selected candidate will keep the building clean, welcoming, and well presented at all times.
Key Duties
- Keep shared spaces, kitchens, and washrooms clean and well maintained.
- Sweep and mop floors as part of the regular cleaning routine.
- Wash windows and ensure blinds remain free of dust.
- Remove garbage and dispose of it correctly.
- Use cleaning tools and supplies safely and keep them in sanitary working order.
- Notice and report any needed repairs or item replacements.
Skills and Abilities
- Practical knowledge of cleaning agents, sanitation practices, and cleaning methods.
- WHMIS certification is considered an advantage.
- Physical capability to reach, bend, and kneel throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull loads of up to 50 lbs.
Requirements
- Must be able to successfully complete a Canadian background check.
