Position Overview

Homestead Land Holdings Limited is hiring a Cleaner for its Ottawa, Ontario location. This is a current opening with a schedule of 40 hours per week, including weekend shifts every second week. The total pay range, which already includes salary and shift premium, is $41,500 to $47,000.

Role Summary

In this role, you will support the upkeep of residential spaces by keeping shared areas clean, safe, and presentable. Your work will help maintain a welcoming environment for residents and guests across lobbies, corridors, elevators, stairwells, laundry rooms, and amenity areas. You will also help keep garbage and recycling rooms orderly and follow established cleaning procedures.

Key Duties

• Carry out routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming.
• Keep elevators, lounges, laundry rooms, and fitness rooms clean and tidy.
• Clean vacant tenant units, including bathrooms and kitchens, as well as ovens and refrigerators.
• Support winter snow removal when needed.
• Take on additional cleaning-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Prior professional cleaning experience is an advantage.
• Must be able to lift items weighing up to 20 kg, such as garbage bags and cleaning tools.
• Dependability, strong attention to detail, and safe work habits are required.
