Overview
This opportunity is for an experienced senior recruiter who enjoys variety, freedom to operate, and the energy that comes with growing a thriving specialist desk. The role sits with a respected recruitment business focused on SaaS, digital, and technology hiring across a range of client types.
You will be stepping into a senior consultant position with responsibility for both established accounts and new client growth. The role calls for someone who can manage the full client relationship, craft strong RFP responses and proposals, and work side by side with a capable delivery team that is known for consistently strong outcomes.

Key accountabilities
- Develop and strengthen relationships with major SaaS and digital clients in New Zealand, with occasional work beyond the local market
- Prepare persuasive proposals, handle brief responses, and deliver high-quality recruitment solutions
- Coordinate closely with the delivery function to ensure clients receive an excellent service experience
- Generate new business through genuine relationship management rather than scripted selling
- Contribute to market visibility and brand reputation while bringing a positive, collaborative approach
Ideal background
- Strong senior-level recruitment experience in technology, particularly in a client-facing capacity
- Comfort in distinguishing excellent delivery from average service, and the ability to consistently achieve the higher standard
- Confidence in writing RFPs, presenting ideas, pitching solutions, and addressing complex client needs
- Readiness to work in a mature, people-first, high-trust environment with meaningful earning potential

This position is based in Auckland, New Zealand. The work style is onsite with hybrid flexibility, including one anchor day in the office each week. The role is full time.
