  • Run educational sessions tailored to the needs of each office.
  • Coordinate program-related communication with the client’s field sales team, including representatives and district managers.
  • Escalate concerns identified during training to the manager, who acts as the main contact for all program communication with Merck.
  • Submit visit documentation accurately and on time, including visit type, duration, and office location.
  • Record interactions with healthcare professionals and their staff.
  • Handle administrative work promptly, such as daily system updates, weekly activity summaries, emails, and monthly expense reports.
  • Arrange and coordinate travel to oncology offices with client sales representatives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with important customers.
  • Complete all required training and competency assessments within the required timeframe and standard.
  • Attend local and national meetings or conferences as needed to stay current and share knowledge with the team.
  • Care for company equipment and materials according to instructions.
  • Follow all Inizio and client policies and procedures.
  • Keep professional registration and/or licensing current as required by state law.
  • Hold a valid U.S. driver’s license and promptly report any violations or points accumulated.
  • Carry out other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • An active nursing license in good standing in at least one state where the in-service education will take place.
  • At least 3 years of oncology nursing experience, including direct patient care, physical assessment, patient education, group in-servicing, and proficiency with peripheral IV access.
  • Hands-on chemotherapy infusion experience.
  • Strong ability to solve problems.
  • Good organizational ability; prior territory management experience is an advantage.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Valid motor vehicle license and proof of insurance.
  • Willingness to travel extensively, including overnight travel; travel may reach up to 100% depending on territory.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to lead both one-to-one and group presentations and manage field-based administrative tasks.

Preferred background

  • CRNI certification in IV therapy is preferred.
  • Experience in adult oncology is preferred.
