Job description
About Dnaneer
Dnaneer Financing is a Saudi Central Bank-licensed financing company that delivers Shariah-compliant, technology-enabled funding solutions to SMEs across Saudi Arabia through a crowdfunding approach. Founded in 2023, the company combines data-led underwriting, modern technology, and strategic partnerships to make access to capital simpler and help businesses grow. Its purpose is to help reduce the SME funding gap by offering flexible, clear, and customer-focused financial products aligned with Vision 2030.
About the Role
Dnaneer is looking for a capable and steady Collections Officer to strengthen its collections function. Because the company operates under Saudi Central Bank supervision in a regulated lending environment, the role demands accuracy, empathy, sound judgment, and a strong sense of accountability. The right person will be comfortable handling difficult repayment conversations, working constructively with borrowers, and protecting portfolio quality while maintaining integrity. You will oversee the full collections cycle for a blended SME and retail book, coordinating with risk, legal, and product stakeholders to recover dues and limit losses.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle delinquent accounts across early, middle, and late collection stages, choosing the right recovery approach for each case.
- Carry out collections outreach through calls, emails, and formal written communication in both Arabic and English.
- Work out repayment arrangements, settlement options, and restructuring plans that consider borrower affordability while meeting recovery goals.
- Make sure every collections action follows Saudi Central Bank requirements, consumer protection rules, and internal lending policies.
- Monitor, evaluate, and share updates on delinquency patterns, recovery performance, and collections productivity measures.
- Keep borrower records, payment promises, and account updates current and accurate in the CRM system.
- Spot the underlying reasons for missed payments and pass useful insights to the risk and product teams.
- Create and maintain recurring dashboards and reports for collections leadership.
- Work with legal, risk, and finance teams to move cases into formal recovery processes when needed.
- Coordinate with product and operations teams to improve borrower communication, repayment experience, and early warning processes.
Qualifications
- Between 2 and 4 years of experience in collections, credit risk, or a similar role within fintech, banking, or financial services.
- Advanced professional fluency in Arabic.
- Proven ability to manage a large portfolio without compromising on quality, compliance, or recovery outcomes.
- Strong negotiation capabilities, including a history of successfully closing restructuring or payment-plan cases.
- Good grasp of credit risk fundamentals, delinquency stages, and collections regulations in Saudi Arabia.
- Comfortable using AI tools as part of everyday work to improve portfolio analysis, borrower communication, and workflow efficiency.
- Saudi National status is required.
Preferred Background
- Experience in SME lending, peer-to-peer financing, or consumer credit in a Saudi Central Bank-regulated setting; prior crowdlending exposure is a plus.
- Hands-on familiarity with CRM platforms and collections management software.
