Role Overview
As the Community Manager, you will represent Mauji at the location and help shape the overall experience for every visitor. The role involves building a warm atmosphere, handling daily operations, supporting events, nurturing local partnerships, and making sure guests feel comfortable and valued. This position blends hospitality, community development, events, operations, and customer experience.
Location
This role is based in Pune and Nagpur. It is a full-time, on-site position and cannot be done remotely.
Community and Customer Experience
- Help create an inclusive and inviting environment for every guest.
- Develop strong connections with regular visitors, members, and community partners.
- Engage with customers to deliver a consistently positive experience.
- Manage customer feedback, questions, issues, and special requests in a professional manner.
- Look for ways to improve satisfaction and encourage repeat visits.
Events and Community Engagement
- Organize and run community-led events, workshops, meetups, and gatherings.
- Assist with collaborations involving artists, creators, and partners.
- Connect with local communities, colleges, organizations, and businesses.
- Contribute to expanding Mauji’s visibility and reach in the city.
Operations and Space Management
- Supervise the day-to-day functioning of the location.
- Carry out regular checks to keep the space clean, practical, and visually appealing.
- Coordinate with vendors, maintenance personnel, and service partners.
- Support smooth opening and closing routines.
Marketing and Growth
- Support hyperlocal marketing activities and campaign execution.
- Spot partnership opportunities that can boost engagement and visitor footfall.
- Assist with content creation and social media interaction when needed.
- Help promote events and community-led initiatives.
Reporting and Administration
- Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly operational updates.
- Monitor event results and collect customer feedback.
- Follow standard operating procedures and keep records organized.
Qualifications and Skills
The ideal candidate should communicate clearly, relate well with people, and enjoy hospitality, events, and community-focused work. The role calls for someone who can juggle multiple priorities, stay organized, work proactively, pay attention to detail, and solve problems with a customer-first approach. Independence, accountability, and comfort in a fast-moving startup setting are important. Interest in culture, creativity, entrepreneurship, and experience-led spaces is also valued.
Preferred Background
A bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Marketing, Business, Communications, or a similar field is preferred. Prior exposure to hospitality, events, customer service, coworking spaces, cafés, community work, or related industries is an advantage. Experience in event management, community building, or customer-facing roles will also be helpful. Freshers are welcome to apply.

This is an on-site role and requires physical presence at the location. Candidates should enjoy interacting with people, hosting experiences, and being actively involved in the space.
