As a Compensation Associate on the Asia Pacific Compensation team, you will support compensation planning and execution for corporate and shared services teams. Your role will involve utilizing market data and internal insights to ensure competitive and equitable pay outcomes. You will manage specific analytical projects from inception to completion, communicate findings effectively, and drive process improvements through simplification and automation. This position provides a solid foundation in compensation analytics, governance, and stakeholder engagement within a confidential and high-trust setting.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and update pay ranges for designated roles by collecting market data, evaluating internal positioning, and preparing range recommendations for management approval.
- Conduct comprehensive benchmarking analyses, including percentile comparisons, and present the results in clear, decision-oriented narratives and materials.
- Analyze trends in pay competitiveness to inform annual compensation planning and the calibration of pay programs.
- Execute year-end compensation analytics across various business units, from supporting pool planning to preparing and validating system uploads.
- Assess the allocation of compensation spend and the outcomes of pay differentiation, identify anomalies, and propose actions aligned with talent and business objectives.
- Collaborate with HR and business stakeholders to gather necessary inputs, verify data accuracy, and address exceptions or missing decisions within established timelines.
- Maintain detailed records of priorities, milestones, check-ins, and resource requirements to facilitate the achievement of regional goals.
- Prepare executive-level materials and decision documents by organizing information, summarizing key insights, and highlighting required decisions.
- Manage operational cadence activities by organizing meetings, creating agendas, and ensuring action items are followed through to completion.
- Enhance existing processes by identifying manual tasks, designing scalable solutions, and developing automation prototypes (e.g., using Excel and Visual Basic for Applications).
- Assist with offer reviews and ongoing market monitoring by benchmarking proposed compensation packages and identifying potential competitiveness risks before formal review.
