Role summary
The Compliance Manager will be responsible for making sure Npontu’s activities, products, and operational processes comply with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry requirements. The role helps build a strong compliance culture across the organization, manages engagement with regulators, supervises financial crime prevention controls, supports data privacy compliance, assists legal and governance functions, and reduces legal and regulatory exposure for the business.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Law, Risk Management, Compliance, or another closely related discipline.
- Background in legal, compliance, governance, risk, or regulatory affairs, including internship or early-career experience.
- Exposure to fintech, technology, telecommunications, financial services, or a similar sector is considered beneficial.
- Working knowledge of corporate governance and the compliance frameworks that apply to the industry.
