Job description

About Atrium

Atrium is an integrated real estate platform that oversees more than 10,000 homes and units across Florida and Virginia. The company focuses on building strong relationships with owners and residents while delivering property management services with professionalism, empathy, and creative thinking. Atrium is a fast-growing and trusted name in the industry.

Role Overview

Atrium is hiring a Computer Science Intern who is curious, motivated, and excited to apply software automation in a modern company. This is a hands-on role where you will contribute to meaningful work rather than doing errands or observation-only tasks. The ideal candidate wants to build real solutions and see them implemented.

What You Will Do

You will work directly with the lead of Atrium’s AI efforts to help automate processes and develop software across the company’s single-family, multifamily, commercial, and development divisions. The role calls for someone who can work independently, think through problems from the ground up, and adapt to different projects based on business priorities.

Location and Schedule

This internship is based onsite at Atrium Management Company, 201 S Bumby Ave., Orlando, FL. It is a part-time position with a schedule of 15 to 28 hours per week.

Compensation

The pay for this internship is $16.00 per hour.

Required Qualifications

  • Solid working knowledge of Python.
  • Hands-on familiarity with Claude Code and Cowork is preferred; OpenAI CodeX is an alternative.
  • Experience using GitHub.
  • Ability to design, develop, and document RESTful APIs.
  • Comfort with evolving requirements, unclear structure, and unfinished project frameworks.
  • Strong written and spoken communication skills, with the ability to explain technical ideas to people with different levels of technical knowledge.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Comfort using Google Workspace, especially Google Sheets and NotebookLM, or the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Experience deploying applications to the cloud, such as on Render or a similar platform.
  • Exposure to generative AI media tools, especially ElevenLabs.
  • Experience with web scraping tools such as BeautifulSoup, Playwright, Selenium, or similar libraries.
  • Background in automating or improving finance and accounting workflows.

What You Can Expect

  • Mentorship from a team that prioritizes teaching and guidance.
  • Exposure to programming and automation work across multiple business divisions.
  • Opportunity to contribute to real projects that reach real users.
  • A flexible work schedule aligned with academic commitments.
  • The chance to join a workplace recognized as the #1 Best Place to Work in 2025 by Orlando Business Journal.
