Role overview

This position is centered on compliance-led managed services work, with a strong focus on Financial Crime Compliance (FCC), Anti-Money Laundering (AML), KYC/CDD/EDD, and broader regulatory obligations. The role involves coordinating compliance projects, carrying out due diligence checks, tracking regulatory changes in the UAE and across international markets, and helping clients stay aligned with the legal and regulatory landscape. It also contributes to building a workplace culture grounded in integrity, transparency, and accountability while supporting the expansion of managed services operations.

What you will do

• Carry out KYC, CDD, and EDD assessments, along with AML, sanctions, PEP, and adverse media screening for customers, employees, and third parties.
• Evaluate adherence to UAE and international AML regulations, as well as internal policies and procedures.
• Keep track of regulatory updates in local and global markets, assess their effect on clients, and recommend compliance changes where needed.
• Support the delivery and coordination of compliance-focused projects within managed services engagements.
• Develop compliance reports, dashboards, presentations, and progress updates for internal stakeholders and client senior leadership.
• Where appropriate, help review, refine, and strengthen compliance policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Conduct training for team members and new joiners to improve understanding of compliance and regulatory expectations.
• Work with internal teams and external stakeholders to support end-to-end compliance management.
• Spot opportunities to improve processes, strengthen controls, and increase the effectiveness of the compliance framework.
• Assist leadership in connecting compliance priorities with broader business goals.

Qualifications and experience

A bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline such as Business Administration, Accounting and Finance, or Law is required. Professional certifications such as ACAMS, CFE, or similar compliance credentials are preferred. A master's degree or MBA with a concentration in Compliance, Business Law, or a related area is considered an advantage.

The role requires more than 5 years of relevant experience in Financial Crime Compliance, AML, KYC, CDD, EDD, and Regulatory Compliance. Experience with a Big 4 firm or another leading consulting organization is preferred.

Core competencies

Strong command of AML, KYC, CDD, EDD frameworks and FCC risk management is essential, along with a solid understanding of UAE and international regulatory requirements. The role also calls for the ability to monitor regulations and assess their business impact, manage stakeholders, collaborate across functions, exercise sound judgment under pressure, think strategically, and maintain a continuous improvement mindset.

Skills required

Excellent written and spoken communication is necessary, along with strong presentation skills for senior management and client-facing discussions. The candidate should be able to simplify complex regulatory topics for varied audiences, stay organized while managing multiple priorities, and work confidently with advanced MS Office tools such as PowerPoint, Excel, and Word to prepare proposals and executive presentations independently. A high level of attention to detail and professional integrity is expected.
