Role overview
Qube Logistics is seeking a reliable full-time Container Repairer for its Neilson Street team in Auckland. This role suits someone who is practical, hardworking, and committed to doing quality work every day.
What you will do
- Restore damaged and rusted shipping containers and flat racks.
- Carry out welding, cutting, painting, and light fabrication tasks.
- Ensure all repairs are completed to the required industry standards.
- Work collaboratively with the team to meet daily output goals.
- Follow Qube’s zero-harm safety expectations at all times.
Working hours and location
The standard schedule is Monday to Friday from 7:00am to 5:00pm, with Saturday work as needed from 7:00am to 12:00pm. The site is located on Neilson Street, Onehunga, Auckland, New Zealand.
What you should bring
- Hands-on experience with welding, steel cutting, grinding, painting, and/or light fabrication.
- A good level of physical fitness and comfort with outdoor work.
- A positive attitude and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Readiness to learn and contribute as part of a team.
- Dependable attendance and punctuality.
