Role overview
The Content & Social Lead will own the content direction and social media execution for the Singapore market. The role is responsible for creating material that informs customers, encourages engagement, and strengthens brand visibility and community across digital channels.
Key responsibilities
- Set the direction for content across owned channels including the blog, newsroom, guides, learning hub, and social media.
- Guide the content and social teams while also coordinating with external contributors and partners.
- Build content plans and frameworks that reflect customer needs, SEO priorities, and engagement goals.
- Maintain an editorial plan that includes market insights, educational pieces, product-focused stories, and social campaigns.
- Shape and deliver social strategy across platforms such as LinkedIn, Twitter/X, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
- Design social-led campaigns that increase awareness and audience interaction.
- Track performance across content and social channels, then refine plans using engagement and conversion results.
- Make sure all published content and social communication follows financial services rules and regulations.
- Create and maintain editorial standards, social guidelines, and brand tone-of-voice rules.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of combined experience in content leadership, editorial work, and/or social media management.
- Experience leading, coaching, and developing content and social teams.
- Good understanding of financial markets and trading, or the ability to become proficient quickly.
- A strong record of producing content and social strategies that improve engagement and conversion.
- Sound editorial judgment and the ability to commission, shape, and edit different content formats.
- Capability to think strategically and build joined-up content and social plans.
- Knowledge of platform algorithms, content formats, and best practices across multiple channels.
- Strong storytelling skills and a clear sense of what drives audience engagement.
- Advanced understanding of SEO, content marketing, and digital publishing practices.
- Experience managing writers, freelancers, and content production workflows.
- Familiarity with CMS tools and content analytics platforms.
- Awareness of compliance and regulatory requirements for financial-services content and social media.
- Understanding of social strategy, influencer collaborations, and community management.
- Ability to lead, mentor, and support team members effectively.
