Role Summary

The Contestant Production Manager will act as the operational lead for all confirmed contestants, bringing together casting, production, and logistics so every participant is cleared, organized, and prepared on time in a high-speed environment.

Key Responsibilities

You will coordinate contestant readiness with production timelines, keep communication flowing between casting and other internal teams, and manage the moving parts that support a smooth contestant experience from intake through on-set execution.

  • Collaborate with production teams to keep contestant preparation aligned with the overall production calendar.
  • Work with the Head of Casting to route any creative changes back through casting in a timely manner.
  • Serve as the main coordination link among Casting, Care, Legal, and Production.
  • Own readiness timelines for contestants and communicate schedule impacts in a fast-changing environment.
  • Anticipate staffing requirements based on scale and operational complexity.
  • Oversee completion of medical, psychological, and legal clearance steps.
  • Confirm that all required paperwork is complete, accurate, and up to date.
  • Handle travel arrangements, lodging, intake logistics, and on-set roster tracking.
  • Monitor the contestant operations budget and escalate any risks or spending variances early.
  • Act as the main operational escalation contact during production.
  • Lead the Contestant and Care Coordinators while keeping tracking systems structured and organized.

Candidate Profile

This role suits someone who has managed production operations before, is comfortable supporting large groups or talent pools, and can work effectively under rapid deadlines while maintaining high standards.

  • At least 2 years of experience as a production manager.
  • Background working with contestants, cast members, or large groups of people.
  • Comfort operating in fast turnaround timelines while meeting quality expectations.
  • Strong leadership capability.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.
