Job description
Overview
This role is with a multinational organization in Singapore, near HarbourFront MRT. The compensation package includes a basic salary plus variable bonus.
Role Summary
The Contract Manager will provide commercial and contractual guidance across the full project lifecycle, covering construction, subcontracting, completion, and handover.
Key Responsibilities
- Offer contract-related advisory support from a commercial standpoint throughout every project phase, from construction through subcontracting, completion, and final handover.
- Review existing processes, systems, and policies regularly and suggest improvements that can strengthen contract administration and overall project support.
- Spot, evaluate, and help manage contractual risks, including advising on suitable mitigation approaches.
- Handle contractual claims, disagreements, settlement discussions, and resolution activities.
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders, using strong judgement, strategic thinking, and consideration of all relevant factors.
- Apply analytical thinking and structured problem-solving to contract matters and project issues.
Requirements
- A degree in the built environment or a related discipline such as construction management or civil engineering.
- Strong working knowledge of PSSCOC is essential.
- Exposure to FIDIC and NEC contract frameworks will be considered an advantage.
