- Ensure smooth connections between POS, payroll, and banking systems, including Toast.

- Track and reconcile inventory movements and transfers.
- Monitor daily cash deposit verification and investigate exceptions.
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and gift cards.
- Manage accounts receivable processes, including credit card and third-party delivery platform receivables.
- Handle capital spending and depreciation.
- Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules by store.
- Build project cost tracking for new store openings.
- Work closely with operations leaders and general managers to review labor and cost performance.
- Own outsourced accounting relationships and review work completed by external bookkeepers.
- Create reporting tools that are genuinely useful to operators.
Requirements
- At least 5 to 10+ years of experience in accounting or finance.
- Prior experience in a multi-unit restaurant environment.
- Strong practical experience using Restaurant365 (R365).
- Solid understanding of restaurant P&Ls, inventory accounting, and labor costs.
- Experience working with multi-entity business structures.
- Ability to operate at a strategic level while also handling detailed execution.
- Experience with Toast integrations is preferred.
- Background in fast-growing or emerging brands is a plus.
- Exposure to commissary or production operations is beneficial.
- CPA qualification is an advantage but not mandatory.
Compensation
