Overview

Flik Hospitality Group is looking to add full-time cooks to its team at the Sanofi Swiftwater site in Swiftwater, Pennsylvania. The role supports day-to-day food preparation and service in a professional foodservice environment.

Location and Schedule

This position is based at Sanofi Swiftwater, 1 Discovery Drive, Swiftwater, PA 18370. Applications are accepted online only. The work schedule is full time, Monday through Friday, from 5:30 am to 2:00 pm, with more details to be shared during the interview.

Compensation

The hourly pay for this role is between $17.00 and $19.00.

Role Summary

The cook prepares food according to company, local, state, and federal standards while ensuring that service quality remains consistent. The role requires attention to food safety, proper presentation, correct portioning, and reliable execution during production and service periods.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare menu items following standardized recipes and directions so production, delivery, and service timelines are met.
  • Plate or package food using correct portions and serving standards, while keeping food at safe temperatures and presenting it attractively and appetizingly.
  • Follow service-time ticket procedures and maintain accurate records for the assigned work area.
  • Clean the kitchen after prep and service, and store or discard leftover food according to safe handling practices.
  • Keep refrigerators and storage areas organized, clean, and compliant with storage standards.
  • Use and care for kitchen equipment as directed.
  • Support production planning, recordkeeping, and reporting tasks when needed.
  • Help with ordering and receiving food and supply items as required.
  • Escalate maintenance concerns, damaged equipment, or workplace incidents to a supervisor right away.
  • Attend required safety and in-service meetings.
  • Work cooperatively with coworkers, clients, administrators, and managers.
  • Maintain a safe, orderly work environment and follow all job-safety practices.
  • Carry out other duties assigned by management.
  • Maintain proper presentation, portion control, temperature control, and HACCP compliance.
  • Take personal responsibility for your own safety and the safety of others.
  • Follow company safety rules, including proper use of cut gloves, oven mitts, fryer gloves, steamer gloves, slip-resistant footwear, and safe lifting techniques.

Requirements

  • Prior culinary experience is required.
  • Ability to follow standardized recipes, food safety rules, and service procedures.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced kitchen and maintaining cleanliness throughout the shift.
  • Ability to use kitchen tools and equipment safely and correctly.
  • Willingness to comply with company policies, safety practices, and HACCP standards.
  • Ability to perform the essential duties of the role with or without reasonable accommodation.
