The Role: Cook

As a Cook at Nido Belair, you will be instrumental in creating a nurturing environment. You will have the autonomy to express your culinary creativity and passion, preparing delicious, healthy meals that help children develop lifelong healthy eating habits. This role involves managing the kitchen, including food purchasing and ensuring all dietary and allergy needs are meticulously met.

What You’ll Bring

• A Certificate II or III in Commercial Cookery is advantageous.
• A required Food Safety Supervisor Certificate.
• Previous experience in a childcare or aged care kitchen setting.
• A valid Working With Children Check (WWCC).
• A comprehensive understanding of allergens and dietary restrictions.
• Willingness to complete the Federally mandated ‘National Child Safety Training’ via Geccko, if not already obtained, by April 1st.
