Role Overview
This position focuses on front-line support for clients in a busy clinical research setting. The coordinator handles routine issues, updates records, completes data-entry and administrative work, and partners with internal teams to keep day-to-day workflows moving efficiently. The role contributes directly to service quality, operational accuracy, and overall research support success.
Key Duties
- Answer client questions through phone and ticket-based support channels, and work through routine problems quickly.
- Complete data entry and manage documentation that must be handled within tight timelines, while following internal compliance rules.
- Maintain account details and system assignments so records stay complete, current, and consistent.
- Check back with clients to make sure issues have been resolved satisfactorily and service remains uninterrupted.
- Work with teams across the business to route, escalate, and resolve client concerns.
- Adjust to changing priorities while still meeting expectations for productivity, accuracy, and service quality.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in customer service, administrative support, or B2B support, ideally in a regulated environment.
- An associate degree, or an equivalent mix of education and professional experience.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain information professionally and build rapport.
- Strong accuracy and attention to detail, especially in compliance-driven work.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, along with comfort using databases and internal systems.
- Ability to stay organized, prioritize several tasks, and remain effective in a fast-moving setting.
- Good problem-solving ability and the judgment to respond within established policies and procedures.
Compensation and Benefits
The base pay ranges from $50,000 to $66,974 per year, depending on experience and location. In addition to base salary, the role may include a performance-based bonus.
